Lord Jesus, who desires what is good for us, your disciples, we thank you for sending the Holy Spirit in your stead, that we might receive one who is with us always to help us and whom we may trust to be our advocate and support always, through you who reigns forever with the Father and Holy Spirit, one God in glory, world without end.
