God of all things, who knows the end from the beginning, grant to us patience when we do not understand, that we would trust your Spirit to reveal to us the things we need to grasp at the proper time, and trust also that you will care for us throughout as we are secure in your provision and protection, through Jesus Christ our Lord. who reigns with you and the Holy Spirit in glory, now and forever. Amen. ‘His disciples did not understand these things at first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things had been written of him and had been done to him.’ – John 12:16 How comfortable are you with not knowing? Can you trust that God will take care of you when you are uncertain or confused? What’s your first response when those times come? If God is present even when you don’t understand, does that change anything for you?
