Merciful Lord, who shares with us in our joy and our pain, let us not eschew the sufferings that this broken world offers, and teach us to accept them as part of the good that you are working in order to redeem us all, that we, like your earthly mother, would remain rooted in the story that you are weaving and be part of the beautiful tapestry you will ultimately create in and for all, through you who reigns with the Father and Holy Spirit.
