Holy Lord, who walked among us and patiently opened the scriptures to your disciples at Emmaus, open our eyes to see you walking beside us now, that we might recognize your presence and work in the world and join with you in bringing about your kingdom, who lives and reigns with the Father and Holy Spirit, one God, world without end.
